Cellarator contains living microorganisms that contribute to the well-being of animals by improving the intestinal microbial balance.  One major organism in Cellarator is Enterococcus faecium M74.  This organism reproduces itself every 19 minutes which is important because most organisms take 23 to 60 minutes to reproduce.  Because Enterococcus faecium M74 can out-reproduce all negative organisms, the animal can use the nutrients in feed more efficiently as the intestinal tract will contain a majority of beneficial bacteria.  Enterococcus faecium M74 is safe to use and causes no harm to your animals or to humans.  Matter of fact, Enterococcus faecium M74 is the first and only lactic acid producing microorganism to receive a permanent authorization from the European Union as a feed additive for livestock animals.  The European Union is extremely strict in what they approve for use in livestock feed so this is quite an accomplishment.  Enterococcus faecium M74 is also an approved ingredient for livestock by the FDA and AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials).  If your current feed additive does not contain Enterococcus faecium M74, it is missing a very important and needed beneficial bacteria.  Cellarator also contains two other beneficial organisms in Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterim bifidum.  The bacteria strands used in the pellet form of Cellarator are different due to the heat process of making a pellet.  Some strands of bacteria cannot survive the heat process.  The strands used in Cellarator pellet are Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus lichenformis, and Bacillus subtilis.  These three strands are very effective and survive the heat process of pelleting. 

Another ingredient in Cellarator is yeast.  The yeast used in Cellarator is a normal brewers yeast collected from beer breweries.  The yeast is not genetically changed or modified and contains no vectors which could be considered as infectious for animals.

Even though Cellarator contains amino acids, the product does not have a high acid level.  The pH level for all Cellarator products range from 3.8 to 5.8.  To give you an idea on how this compares to other common food items, grapes have a pH level of 3.5 to 4.5.
